  • Regularly updating the Ethnic Student Center social media
  • Creating weekly mass newsletters on MailChimp and design posters and pamphlets
  • Recording and editing videos that showcased events, performances and historic moments
  • Working with the Program Support Coordinator to publicize and plan events
  • Organizing marketing campaigns to increase more membership and participation in clubs, events, and activities in the ESC
  • Coordinating leadership, training and workshops for club/organization leaders
  • Managing volunteers and serve on hiring committees

The 24rd annual Ethnic Student Center Conference was October 17-19, 2014 at the Camp Casey Conference Center. IGNITE: Identity, Perspective, Unity "Going into the weekend, I had no expectations of the event, nor did I know anyone who was going. I was diving headfirst into something that proved to be transformational and quite remarkable."

The Ethnic Student Center (Western Washington University) put on its biggest event of the year, Culture Shock, on Thursday, May 14, in the Performing Arts Center on Western's Bellingham campus. At the annual event, members of the ESC, other students at WWU and various community members showcase their cultures and learn from others.
